Vince Sala

Vince Sala is a veteran Jazz and Blues saxophonist who as been playing in and around the St. Louis area for a number of years.

 

As a leader he has led a number of bands playing bars, restaurants and nightclubs around town including: Expression Jazz Quintet at the Orphanage on Euclid, Forecast at the old Webster Grill, Visions Jazz at the Cheshire Inn European Wine Garden, and most recently the Vince Sala Trio at the Pat Connelly Tavern and the Kinda Blue Club.  Vince currently performs regularly at the Alpha Brewing Company in South St. Louis.


As a sideman, Vince has played long time stints with the eclectic Chia Band, Tom Hall's River City Rhythm, and Bob Case's Wild Accusations. On a supplementary basis he has worked with the Soulard Blues Band, Silk Pajamas and Pennsylvania Slim.  Vince also played for a year with the Albert King Blues Band and can be seen and heard on the DVD "Albert King Live in Sweden", available on Amazon.
