Local and regional jazz musicians spend their lives perfecting their craft only to be dismayed at the lack of venues willing to accommodate or afford them.

The Solution

 

Str8ahead.org aims to provide full or partial funding for musicians in order to extend the reach of the art form to non traditional audiences.  The experience of this particular genre of music transcends differences and brings people together.  Its unique sound resonates with the spirit and is well worth the pursuit.
